18 model numbers

This index covers only model numbers that appear in the product listings collected for this site. A model page repeats what the listings state and nothing further.

Verify before you buy

  1. Find the model number on the opener motor unit, not on the remote. They are different numbers.
  2. Open the light lens and note the color of the Learn or program button, and whether it is labeled at all.
  3. Read the listing text of the remote you are considering and check that it names your opener model number or your button color.
  4. Check the frequency printed on the opener label against whatever the listing states.
  5. If the listing does not name your model, treat it as unanswered rather than as a yes.

The two numbers people mix up

  • The number printed on a remote is the remote model number. The number on the opener motor unit is the opener model number. A listing naming one of them has said nothing about the other.
  • A listing that names several models in a family has still named only those models. Treat anything unnamed as unanswered.
