Corrections are the most useful thing you can send, and figures and model numbers are the two places where being wrong costs a reader money. If a number here does not match what is printed on your own equipment, that is worth knowing about.
What to include
- The page address, so there is no guessing about which figure you mean.
- What the page says now and what you believe it should say, quoted rather than described.
- What you are comparing it against: a label on your equipment, a manufacturer document, or a standard. A photograph of a label settles more arguments than any amount of description.
- For opener model numbers, both numbers if you have them: the one on the motor unit and the one on the handset. They are different, and knowing which you are reading from is usually the whole issue.
What this address cannot do
It cannot tell you whether a particular remote will be accepted by your opener. Nobody here has your hardware, and this site holds no manufacturer statement about it. The compatibility pages carry the steps for settling that yourself, and they are the honest answer.
It is also not a support line for any manufacturer, and it cannot process an order, a return or a warranty claim for anything bought through a link here. Those go to the retailer.
